About us and our Hemp Farm
Our Story
We're a family farm in Vermont that produces pesticide free, organic hemp and full-spectrum CBD. We aim to cultivate the highest quality products in Vermont, while educating on the amazing potential and many uses of hemp.
The owners, Andrew and Devan have been cultivating Cannabis/hemp since 2018. We cultivate small scale to provide high quality artisan hemp products. We believe in quality over quantity, giving us the ability to provide craft hemp flower and hemp products.
Our Farm
Our farm is located on a beautiful ridge in Vershire, VT. Before it became "Goat Ridge Hemp", it was a horse farm for over 60 years housing up to 85 horses at a time. Our pastures that our now the hemp fields have never been "farmed" just grazed, so we can guarantee that no pesticides or fertilizers have been put into our soil. We only use organic practices to ensure the quality of our plants.
We now homestead full time thanks to all of your support! We are currently raising mini cattle, old spot pigs, goats, rabbits, ducks, chickens, and a pony!
All-Natural Full Spectrum Hemp Oil
Our full spectrum oil contains only hemp grown by our family. This allows us to ensure our customers receive a product that was grown using only organic practices. Our fields were previously horse pasture and have never been "farmed", so we can guarantee are soil is free from conventional fertilizers and pesticides that can contaminate crop fields for years. We partnered with a local, VT licensed facility in Brattleboro, to process our hemp into the full spectrum oil, and we couldn't be happier how it turned out. Using only our hemp, and processing locally allows us to maintain a higher level of quality from start to finish. The final product is bottled and labeled on our farm by hand before we ship your order or drop it off at retail locations around the state.

About Us
Brinks's Journey!
November 14th 2018 our dog Brinks was diagnosed with a very aggressive bone cancer, osteosarcoma. November 26th Brinks had his front left leg amputated and was left with a very bleak outcome. Our Vet informed us that we were only looking at a few months left with him even after amputation, and if we chose not to move forward with chemo his life expectancy would be even shorter. After a ton of research We did opt out of chemo, instead we decided to take the CBD route. We had just started farming hemp for CBD that spring and were shocked that our own best friend's life was going to depend on it. We were (still are) so grateful to be on this journey when Brinks was going to need it most! We started giving Brinks 2 droppers full of our CBD oil everyday (50mg each..1500mg bottle)
FAST FORWARD TO December 10th 2019
We took our other dog to the vet for a dew claw injury and decided to take Brinks in as well to ask for a chest X-Ray (typically you will lose your battle to osteosarcoma due to tumors metastasizing to the lungs) We had given them no warning we were brining Brinks as it was a last minute decision on our end, so when we arrived the staff was floored. The vet even went to get his chart before coming in the exam room to check out our other dog. She couldn't believe he was still alive and in such good health. She checked to see if they had sent for a biopsy on his amputated limb (which they had) and his numbers for the cancer were so high, she said he is defying all odds. She agreed to do a chest X-Ray and was floored again when the results came back completely clear of any tumors in his chest.
Osteosarcoma spreads by the cancer cells metastasizing (Brinks tumors were metastasizing by 3 meaning that every cancer cell created 3 new cancer cells when it metastasized) CBD studies have shown that CBD slows and in some cases stops the metastasizing of cancer cells. Based on Brinks tumor numbers prior to his CBD journey he shouldn't have made it this far. Thanks to our CBD oil Brinks is celebrating 14 months post diagnosis
